Notes
Ran with Lisa and her family friend Gary, an accomplished ultrarunner from Marin County. My pace was faster than usual for the course, but I wanted to keep up with the youngsters.
I slipped on a section of the No Name Trail. Tall invasive shrubs had substantially narrowed the trail, obscuring the footing. Escaped with a minor scrape on my right hand and a patch of bloody scrapes on my left knee.
Lisa also fell a minute later while climbing the No Name Grade. She also claimed it was a minor slip despite sustaining a bloody hand and a swollen middle finger.
