Notes

Solid run with Brendan on a wonderful Scottish summer day (66º, cloudy, humid, spitters of rain). The ground felt great on the feet today, and the solid surfaces didn't tear up my soles. Ran a good 6:40 pace around the top, although I stepped in a bit of dog shit at one point. Actually, the amount of shit up there was appalling, and I just didn't see the small bit to which I did fall victim. Despite some soreness around the legs from stability muscles, the pace felt very nice and controlled, and in the end I would have been happy to run a bit longer. Still no pain or discomfort in my legs before, during, or after the runs. Maybe I can start to slowly run a bit more, but I'd need to back off on cycling mileage to really allow that, I think.
