I really enjoyed this run. Headed off around 8:30pm, after it had gotten dark and cooled down. Hydrated well and put on the vibrams, hoping that I'd avoid the blistering of 2 days ago. My legs and stride felt strong the whole time, and my ankles didn't feel beat up after the run, despite doubling the distance from two days ago. Ran out to Elliot Bridge along the Esplanade in 26:2x (7min pace), then came back along the Esplanade in Cambridge to the MassAve bridge (3.35 at 6:50 pace), then back along Boylston (1.15 in 6:00 pace). Managed to keep the stops of more than a couple seconds to two instances -- once at a longish light (which helped ease a bad cramp anyway) and once to get some water from a fountain before the last couple miles. However, I had one maybe 20 second stop in the last mile or so, which was pretty annoying. Other than that, when I'd picked it up from the bridge, I had some fun dodging around people, getting yelled at from cars, and, my personal favorite, giving a drunk guy a high five while also accidentally smacking his girl in the tits (where his hand was). Didn't feel any rubbing in the first 6 miles, but the last couple I felt rubbing under the big toes. No blistering like two days ago, though. Don't know what made it so much better today, or why it started so suddenly the last two miles.

Also, listened to Zeppelin! Really brought me back to early high school, and I still loved running to it.
