Notes

Barefoot 11pm run with Jeff doing our usual thang. I'd gotten a bit drunk in the afternoon with the Krols, Alice and Lulu, and we went to Greek fest. I drank a Mythos there, then Lulu and I ate ice cream on the way back, so lol. Later, I'd sobered up, woken up a bit, and burned some of the yooj number of calories. Time for some evening winning, so Jeff and I decided to run late. Feet felt pretty good despite the road and sidewalk running, and legs didn't feel too bad considering the ride this morning and the running two days ago, etc. My right achilles, the one I felt twinge back in the late fall/early winter, does not like this uptick in activity. I'm fairly sure I did something when it twinged, but it doesn't seem to be anything to be overly worried about. Just need to warm up and not be an idiot. There was a giant horde of graduating seniors from some high school nearby who were having a party up on the hill. As we ran up the hill, some girl walking by with her friend went for the usual bullshit Forrest joke, so I responded, after an awkward silence, with really overdone haughty laughter. Pretty sure the party was about to get busted as we were coming down. Pace around the reservoir was good and felt solid, and we didn't wane that much coming down either. Pleased with this!
