ICY, SLOW RUN...Keiron came home from his run with a bloody hand after falling several times on the ice. Usually Sundays I do a tempo run but that was not possible in the icy conditions. I ran 4.2 miles in 9:09 pace..SLOW SLOW SLOW Run...I had to stop and walk around icy patches. I ran on people's lawns as much as possible. Usually I run t his 4.2 loop in 35 minutes or so (8:24 pace per mile) but today over 9 minute miles. I feel like I didn't even get my heart rate up much it was so slow and nerve wracking. Our TV broke in our excersize room on saturday which is why me/Keiron both ran outside instead of the dreadmill. I wore tights, long sleave technical shirt and gloves. My hands froze..I should have worn 2 pairs of gloves.
