PR today by 3 seconds at the 10 Mile Road Race - Old Fashioned 10 Miler in Foxboro. thought I'd run a tad faster since I ran 7:35 per mile in 1/2 marathon in october and this is a shorter distance but still happy with the 3 second PR. Mile 1=7:26, Mile 2= 7:16, Mile 3= 7:52, Mile 4=7:45, Mile 5=7:36, Mile 6=7:56. Mile 7=7:55, Mile 8=8:01, Mile 9=7:34, Mile 10 =7:10 (my garmin read 10.07 miles..ran the last .07 in 7:02 pace). Keiron drove the course w/our daughters and they cheered for me 4 times which helped tremendously. I'm 85% happy with my time today, was hoping to break 1:17 but still, it's okay. 2 years ago I ran this race in 1:17:13.
