Opened perfectly, but I had no speed endurance and the mud was NOT helping. good course, could've been a PR if it had been dry, but it was super muddy and I got stuck like every 20 ft and had to slow down. i have no acceleration which made the whole thing quite difficult. at one point in the beginning i was literally at a stop as we turned around a tree. ugh.
oh well. makes sense. have done no workouts since mid/late september. hopefully this means i'll have a good taper for detroit next sunday. at least i was warmed up today.
