GPS appeared to behave pretty well. Google Maps gives a distance of 4.34 for this route, so 0.08 miles off is not bad. My right knee started feeling tight after about 2.5 miles, but this did not turn into pain. Actually, the tightness was more at the very top of my calf, perhaps where it connects to the knee. I stretched my calves and my hamstrings afterward, and it felt fine later in the day. ***Fastest pace yet for the UNCC Greenway route!***
