866 days. Tied my PR from track on a certified road race course. Feel good about that. Went out in 5:45, but there was a girl in front of me (turns out she was 16) with headphones in that went out in a 5:30. I was a little worried when she didn't come back to me very quickly. But I caught up to her around the 2.5 mile mark, put on a surge, and broke her pretty fast. Still, she ran well (18:03) and I probably wouldn't have run that fast if I hadn't wanted to beat her. Felt good other than the charlie-horse feeling in my leg lingering from my fall in Decorah.
Really enjoyed having Kurt and Jacki there yelling for/at me. Such good people. Late we went to their cabin on the lake, ate burgers, and jet skied.
