Not gonna dwell on this one. Goal was to NOT play it safe and use this race as a true gauge as to where I am. True to where I thought I was - good base but I have little speed work or any real reason to think I could attempt a sub-3:30. I fought the pace all day and it eventually bit me in the ass in the form of cramps and leg fatigue by 22. Oh well - gonna try t ramp this thing up for 2022. Great race and course and really did have a good time even though this represents a bit of a failure. But, very fortunate to still be running and getting to the starting line. Looking forward to more racing this year!
