Notes

Tough course but a nice race overall - the first mile was real hard with a large couple of hills .5 miles out of the gate - made for a brutal start. That first mile caught up with me around mile 4 and took me until around mile 8 to get back in my groove. All in all a good race. Back of my knee is still bugging me, but overall real happy with this race as I PR'd. Was hoping for around 1:10, but will take this considering the first mile and an overall tough course.

Official time: 58 out of 619 14/54 M4049 1:13:39/7:22

PS: Thanks Lance for the hill work this winter and your sweet hill advice - came in handy today for sure (although I must have sounded and looked like a damn freight train with my hard exhales) - did some good work on those bad boys today!!

I like that on that map there's a "Labor in Vain Road". Nice work, strong finish.

Fro

Thanks. LOL - the first mile felt like I was laboring in vain. My legs were rubber after that first big downhill.

ACrosby

Nice race

L Train

Nice race, Mike. You giving me credit is ridiculous, it was one run and you helped me as much as I did you that day. But if something I said helped in any way, that's great.

Mad-Mike

Nice run, I see now that I will have to avoid races that you are in now. Thanks alot

Fro - just seeing this now but that is a great result and a rolling course. Great result. Cremer didn't mention the "Heartbreak Hill road". Fitting. Heal up.

Fro

thanks all - can't wait for race season this year.... here's to us all getting healthy or staying that way.

Egad

Nice PR buddy.

Catching up on log stalking... great race! You and Lance working on hard breathing together makes me nervous but too each his own.

Fro

LOL

Great work after a rough start. Very nice finish. Looking forward to more races myself, when healthy.
