Used the foam belt the entire time. swam two laps trying the freestyle breathing again but it's really quite hard. So I did the rest with my head out of the water. <-- really hurts your neck. My technique is definitely getting better as I get stronger but without the breathing technique it's useless.

I've decided I'm going to really watch the shoes I train in now and fully focus on transitioning to barefoot running rather than half-assing the transitioning and focusing on my training. I realize I don't need a ton of training to run a 3hr Marathon so it would be better for me to fully transition and start enjoying running again, pain free.
