Beautiful weather! I was actually a little chilly just before I started.
Amy rode along side me and held water that I took about halfway through, helped a lot. Felt terrific on this run and it was the first day I implemented my comprehensive nutrition plan rather than the crap I've been doing. Got it from Paleo For Athletes which is an awesome book for nutritional advice on pre/during/post-exercise and pre-race... not to mention at everything in between. It all really makes a lot of sense and is very scientific.
Plan on doing this route more often. I do feel my fitness may have faltered during the last few weeks but we'll see, I'm gonna run my heart out at the Warrior Invite anyway, hopefully help some warrior's to a PR!
