          Who is he ?? Embarrassed

Scott Jurek. He's an (elite) ultra runner. He is one of the real life characters in "born to run". He's also been features in runners world.

... He is one of the real life characters in "born to run".

Don't hold that against him; he's a nice guy, actually.

He's also been features in runners world.

Well, I guess you could hold this against him.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

              A little late, but hey.

Thanks for posting this. I'm a big fan also, and met her in Boston last month. She signed a few things for me which was really cool.

I'd rather see her take NYCM, than the World Record.

. . . nah.  I'd rather see her take both at the same time.

                  GO DESI!
