Cats poop is stinkier than before (Read 175 times)

zonykel

My wife changed the food that she gives the cats (supposedly better). However, now the cats have this super stinky poop that covers an entire room. Should we just change back to their previous food, or do cats get accustomed to new food?

I've heard that if you rub your nose in it, you'll acclimate to the smell within a few days.

      Or get a new cat.

      I'm back!

Especially if the poop covers an entire room.

meant to say that the smell covered the entire room, not the poop :-)

Or get a new cat dog.

            FIFY.

Sorry cat folks, couldn't resist.  No disrespect.

One of my sons wants a dog. But I don't want to stress out the cats with an unknown variable.

Get a dog, they shit outside.

                Short of that try this

Yes, and you get to pick up their poop.

As if you don't have to deal with the cats' poop.

Well at least someone here is making relevance to the subject.

I make my kids do it.

Well, I TRY to make my kids do it.

Oh, also, we actually have a gate to the laundry where the cat box is, because before we did, the dog would go in and eat the cat's poop.

The point I was trying to make is that just because a dog poops outside doesn't mean you don't have to deal with it.

(I did see one time someone walking her dog and she didn't pick up the poop. That wasn't right)

                        Am I doing this right?

I make my kids do it.

                          That's what kids are for....right?

                          No excuses....

The very occasional vomit in the house when they eat something they don't like is epic though.
