What's the difference between a performance top and a base layer? (Read 443 times)

    I'm on the sportsauthority site and I'm confused.

    Goals:
    Finish C25K

    I'm slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter, but I run.

      I'm under the impression that baselayer stuff is really thin and snugger (like long underwear)...to put under a performance top, which will usually be a bit heavier-weight and looser-fitting.

      Getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to

      remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air.

        In my closet the one I happen to put on first is the base layer and the one I put on second is the performance top.

          I usually take Ennay's approach...but I think a real base layer is like what Zoomy said...thinner...and you prolly wouldn't want to wear it by itself cause it will be tighter and thinner.

          Being the best tiny spec that I can be!
