Running Rev'd
Still keeping on. 2 miles late this afternoon in the dark after a long day at church (work for me) and a parishioner's open house where I did not make good food choices. Definitely would not have run if not for the streak.

Ran my 5K today with an okay time for me -- beat last year's time on this course which is a plus. Still just glad to be out there after coming back from a bad accident. Last February I fractured 3 vertebrae sledding with my grandkids. Caught too much air off a jump, and suffered 2 burst fractures and a compression fracture. Hopefully I can beat my sub 30 PR, this upcoming season. For now, I'm grateful for my 32:32.
Found out today that there's a 5K on New Year's Day. Thinking this would be nice ribbon to tie up this Holiday Streak.

2015 Goals:
Sub 30 5K
Sub 60 10K
Fourteen today on the trails. Good run, although there's nothing like the regret of not lubing.
Kathleen - I think a New Years Day 5K is a great way to wrap up this whole streak thing!! I am going to look for one around my area!
Or for 10 times the fun, find a Fat Ass 50k.

Know thyself.
Still going, 6 yesterday and 2 tempo today probably on the TM.
Ice skated for 2 miles this morning. Looks like I should find some old shoes to screw if I want to get through this week upright and with some decent mileage.
streak still going. with milder weather here now, it almost feels like cheating!

We are fragile creatures on collision with our judgment day.
Cursed out the DPW who still haven't touched the sidewalks 36 hours after the snow ended.
An easy lunchtime 7. Legs feel pretty damn good all things considered.

No run this Sat/Sun, feel like a loser. New streak starts today

Ouch! I had a compression fracture of a vertebra about 6 years ago. Still makes me wince.
I've signed up for a 10K myself. My next goal is a sub-60 10K, so the New Year's Day race will determine my starting point for my training plan, for calculating training paces and so forth.
As to the post race penguin plunge - Atlantic Ocean off NH in January? Not. Gonna. Happen.
So... day 18, I kept the streak alive with 3 km on the TM. But my sinuses flared up, I even have fever, so I have no idea if I will be able to run tomorrow. I just hope I can get to my doctor in reasonable time - when I start taking antibiotics I usually get better in two days. I'll try to run the minimum until then, but I can't make any promises.
