My pet peeve......when in the middle of a run someone asks for directions......farging annoying!
Just don't stop, but be helpful, and try to give them good directions, as long as they run along with you whilst you're explaining.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

I have a friend who runs ultra's and there are so many things in that video that remind me of him. I can only take him in small doses because he actually talks a lot like the character in the brooks shirt and sunglasses. ARGH! He actually tried to lure my non-running engineer husband into a debate about how shaving his legs would improve his performance. Not a good argument after many, many beers. Or anytime really
