The Limping Jogger

One day I decided I wanted to become a runner, so I did.

Okay, This could or could not fall under the "gear" forum but i'm putting it in here because I have an additional question. Question #1: I've narrowed down my desired running stroller to either the BOB Ironman or a Baby Jogger Performance. Both have great reviews. The Baby Jogger seems to get slightly better reviews as a running stroller due to its 20" wheels, but the downside is that its less compact for travelling. The BOB also has great reviews but is praised for its compactness... it only has 16" wheels.

Hi! I think that running with a newborn is ok, as long as you use the infant carrier and the pads that support the baby's neck (also as long as you don't fly over bumps and s/he is bouncing around). Whatever you do DO NOT, DO NOT buy the Yoovy Zoom 360 and the adaptor that comes with it. My baby fell out of the stroller and we were not even walking with it, we were sitting down having a coffee at the mall. The adaptor came lose and the infant seat fell onto the floor with the adaptor still attached. Luckily my baby was ok. So please be very careful when purchasing a running stroller and any parts for it.
Old , Ugly and slow
If your newborn can run you will have to run very slow because a
baby has very short legs.
But I would wait a few weeks to start running with your newborn.
