Hi All: I had the flu last week that moved into a mild case of Bronchitis. I am starting to feel much better and ran an easy 4 miles today. Had a great run for the most part with one coughing fit mid-way. When I finished though I was thoroughly winded, sweaty, etc.

Anyway, do cold temps have an affect on breathing with bronchitis? The temp here this morning was 35 degrees.

Any stories out there on how long it took to recover?

Thanks

Bronchitis can take up to six months to get completely over...go easy....

Cold temps can cause bronchial tubes to spasm ( I think)...

Trent would know better....

35 probably won't be too bad if you take it easy. I had a bad flu a few weeks back that had me out for a week. For the following week+ my lungs were pretty annoyed with me for running, but our temps were also well below freezing, which tends to make my already asthmatic lungs kinda cranky.
