Flat foot part II (Read 683 times)

I am not a happy camper!! I really paid attention to my run this time. And I say run in jest. More walk than run. At about a half mile I started hearing plop on the right foot fall. And it just got worse!! First I have no leg extension, it is more a short step jog. I know part is just age and not running, as I did run well years ago in Basic Training. Then I noticed my right foot turns toes out after the push off The right foot has no pitch rotation through the ankle And it lands on the outside of the forefoot then rolls flat with the heal landing almost at the same time the roll stops. Any ideas?
To paraphrase an old poster: Today is the first day of the rest of your training. It doesn’t matter where you started or how far you’ve come. Today is the day. Your training didn’t start 6 weeks ago. Your training started the last time you hit the road. John “the Penguin” Bingham Life is not tried, it is merely survived if you're standing outside the fire
