1500 Miles So Go Run

1500 (Read 492 times)

I see a few folks quietly crossed 1,500 miles recently without so much as a peep. Take a bow. You know who you are. And, a few others getting pretty close. Wondering - will YOU make the jump to the 2,000 Mile Club next year? Almost 39 miles a week. Week in, week out. Not for the faint of heart, or weak-kneed. Plus, they're a bunch of boobs on that board from what I understand...
congrats to our recent 1500 milers!! I just joined the 2000 mile club...hopefully I'll stick it out next year. Big grin

          Go Pre!

I need to run 3+ miles a day for the next 37 days to make it. (5.5k per day) ---- and now that I am back from injury rest and feeling great...I just might do it!

....and congrats to trishierunner! Wondering - will YOU make the jump to the 2,000 Mile Club next year? Absolutely! ~1200 last year - ~1700 (hopefully) this year - and 2000+ next year! I like boobs... any others adding a few miles next year?
Ya, I thought I'd make the jump too. Staying consistent and injury free will be key. It will be nice to see a few familiar faces on the new boards come Jan. 1! Congrats everyone who's already at 1,500 and those getting close.
                  Congrats guys. Very impressive!!!l

Hey I hit 1500 too. Sheesh. 2000 next year for sure. Going to shoot for over 2000 running and 2000 on the bike. We'll see how that works out.

                      1 Hip and 2 Hamstring reconstructions later…

                      Anyone have pizza?

I had every expectation to break 1000 but never thought I had a shot at 1500. I still dont think I do because I need to run 251.8 miles in the next 36 days which equals an average of just about 7 miles per day without any rest from here on out... Dead UGH! Dead..... Only time will tell..... Roll eyes
Thanks! Smile I was hoping to hit 2000, but 2 weeks off due to injury later in the year has kept me off of that. I should break 1900 though. Maybe I'll go for 2500 next year.
Hurray!!! I reached my 1500 miles this morning -5C light snow covering up black ice under. Overheating is not an issue anymore!!Global warming......eh! Nice work, Arne. What are your race plans through the winter? Any chance you'll run any of: - Boxing Day 10 miler, Hamilton (12/26) - Chilly HM, Burlington (3/2) - Around the Bay, Hamilton (3/30)?
I dont know, I have this insane obsession with Boston. I WANT to Q so badly. But the seasons snow and ice might slow my training down. The weather stopped my long run this weekend as you probably noticed yourself in your own neighbourhood. If all goes well I will yet again aim for a BQ time in February in "last chance for Boston" Colubus Ohio. I might put in a BAY but I also have to let people cut me open this spring (Hernia). I have to make up my mind sometime in January I guess. This is also the time of year where there is a giant conspiracy on to make me fat again! How about you?? are you going to do them all or just one or two? Cheers Arne
