This was not the best year of running for me. After 1100 miles in 2010 I did well for the first four months of 2011 until early April when my right foot fell apart on me. I limped through a painful summer, boot, podiatrist, gained 15 pounds, and will finish 2011 with about 650 miles. So I guess in my world, 350 miles equals 15 pounds.
However, I am determined to get back on the horse. My foot feels pretty much healed (some minor soreness), and I completed my first 20 mile week in 9 months with my longest single run since last February. I'm beginning to feel strong again, and I'm going to go for 1500 again this year.
2014 Goal -- Run 5X per week, pain-free (relatively) by end of summer.
