Weekly Check-In for 9/29 - 10/05 (Read 370 times)

...---...

Tuesday but it took me 55mins to go 5.5miles, it's normally a 15-20min commute. I could have easily ran home faster.
Whoa, and at today's gas prices that really sucked. DUtchie knows a lot about TM's - so does Perfesser.

    Chicago - 10/7/12

    ...---...

19.2 miles before IT Band at the knee brought me to a halt. Thankfully I can taper now.

      San Francisco - 7/29/12

Warrior Dash Ohio II - 8/26/12

      Chicago - 10/7/12

Whoa, Trey, 19+ miles. Seems to me like that's pretty good. Taper time, and that will be frustrating too, you'll have lots of energy and feel like you should be out there running more. Stick with the plan. Keep us posted on the taper and the race!

I am trying to taper and am cutting back on the long mileage but fighting the urge to run get out from my office every day. Ran 10 miles yesterday and 5 today and think I will take a couple of days off. I want to feel really fresh and "on fire" when I run this marathon next week. Well maybe a smoldering 4:30 minute marathonn would be great
