Half Crazy K 2.0

Slept in, a bit by accident,  so only had time for a few miles. First run in Brooks Glycerins. Felt ok, maybe a little wide feeling,  but definitely can use them for easy runs.

Me too - till 5:20! My alarm is set for 5:30 but I never make it to then anyway. So only had time for 5 miles before a 7:30 meeting, but that's about all I was going to do anyway after yesterday's workout.

Morning! Didn't sleep much, I mean, didn't sleep at all thanks to hubby's coughing attacks. Sigh. In the office and in need of a 5 hour nap.

I have 3 after work and will lift too.

I haven't set an alarm in years (except for early flights). These days, my body just wakes up at like 4am daily, sigh.

RD for me. Packed day today, including a fun work holiday party at a brewery with my group. I'll leave when the shots appear, lol

Send him to the guest room! Also, hope he feels better.

sdWhiskers. I wake up around 3, then 4, then 5, then usually get up with no alarm between 5:45 and 6:15. I do set the alarm for in office days. Congrats on the promotion.

Docket, yea definitely send him to the guest room.

Less zombie but still COVID positive … but inactivity effing my right leg😡

Have been taking Paxlovid since Wednesday as I’m on the higher risk side of the scale.

I’ve never mentioned this before as my right leg has been and is the biggest limiter for running, however, I do have mild emphysema, which makes the Covid thing a bit spooky for me.  But feeling much today, except for the effing right leg😡

And the Chargers have fired their coach, to the surprise of no one.

Daffy - good luck with getting past Covid despite your emphysema.

I generally wake up well before my alarm, but every so often I'm asleep when it goes off, so it's still worth setting.

5 miles easy running for me.  Sunny and 50º, so shorts & t-shirt despite the cold wind blowing.

My covid test finally came back today and it is NEGATIVE.  My doc was so convinced I had it.  So now I have no idea WTF is wrong with me but I feel no better four days after visiting him.  I've got a call into their office to find out if I should continue with the Paxlovid, or try taking something else.  Headaches, sneezing, runny nose, achy body, general fatigue, coughing, hacking, and last night at 2:00 AM I was having a hard time breathing.  This is URD #4 and my third straight day of calling in sick to work.  I feel like ass.

Last fall, I got “virus, undetermined”… was test for COVID and flu.   The doc told me to take expectorant because it was in my lungs.  at first, I use the 12 hour namebrand expectorant, but it made me feel funny; switch to cheap Walmart, expectorant that you take every four hours. That’s what I’m taking now with the Covid

Metapnuemovirus?  Can you ask for a chest xray, especially given the breathing issues?

I also had "unspecified viral illness" and got bacterial pneumonia on top of it.

Ugh, sorry you're still miserable. My family has success with albuterol inhaler for the breathing issues.

Is it just good old fashioned flu?
