Sweet! If I had the job I'd be posting links and promoting the combo packs. Just saying ...

and I love winter ... so does Mrs. adkkev.  Here she is up in Alaska ... Christmas holiday ... it's about -25 in the photo.  And it's 2pm in the afternoon, sun's getting ready to set.  We were on our way to Chena Hot Springs.

I did not complain once this past summer that it was too hot to run, because last winter was so harsh. Cold is one thing, but sometimes it's above freezing point one day, and then -20C for a week after that. All the streets and sidewalks become very dangerous.

                          Arrrgghh! Winter is coming!

We did have a very nice and cool summer and beautiful fall until very recently, cannot complain at all.

The silence is amazing ... all you can hear is your boots crunching on the snow.  And sitting in the hot spring, all toasty & warm, with icicles in your hair is quite an experience.

And so is waking up to a full moon shining in your window & thinking that it's the middle of the night.  Then you glance at the clock at see that it's really 8:30am.
