SRD for me. Today my ankle is still a bit swollen. Actually, it's right above the ankle in that little fleshy area between the ankle and Achilles. I don't remember twisting it or taking a bad step. Any ideas?  At least I can run through it but I feel it EVERY step so I hope I'm not making it worse. Good job I have an SRD.  7 tomorrow and 18 Sunday so we'll see.   DD1 has a track meet tomorrow and I have a big drum gig with the band so that will be fun.

Have a good weekend. Hopefully you have a three day weekend like me. Smile

Didn't you change the type/style of shoe you run in the past few months? I always look at the those things first but leave no stone unturned.

How are the hens doing Blue? And my man Little Duke?

Basya your comment about an alignment reminded me that I have a massage with Tammy today.

She's the rougher of the two that I use so I better get some protein in me here soon!

I get that when I stepped wrong and almost twisted the foot.  It's not really a twist so you don't notice but it hurts nonetheless.  I would ice it a bit and see how it feels.

I have always bounced around from shoe to shoe and never really stuck with one brand or model. Now that you mention it, one thing I have changed is I no longer use the Superfeet inserts. I stopped using them because I didn't really have a reason to be using them in the first place.

I do remember stepping on a stone and stumbling but you're right, it wasn't a twist. I wonder if that has something to do with it.

I don't know how I feel about men wearing shorter shorts than I do.

I don't know what gets me more looks : short shorts or tights.

I've gotten to the point I don't really care much. ( if 300 lbs stuffed in tights showing all sorts of unmentionables is acceptable then my frame is fine too)

I have no problem with people of different sizes, but I just don't understand why some of them (more the women than the men) insist on stuffing themselves into sizes that are way too small for them. Just because you can squeeze yourself into something does not mean that we cannot see all the bulging that's going on there... It's not just about obese women, even smaller women are guilty of wearing clothes which are not the correct size. Muffin top is never attractive, even if you're smallish and 20.

I have about 10 easy tonight. Need to burn off that growing muffin around my waist...

It sounds weird but I do not mind being mocked, stared at like I'm an idiot or laughed at. That is probably why I have embraced the idea of racing in tights or jogging in hot pants. lol

Why not a running bra in the summer? That'll get you lots of looks and maybe some mocking too!
