Looks like they got him...
Former Bad Ass
Some sources say pinned down and others down. Who knows.
Damaris
Maybe that was the strategy? Get him to move? It would be very hard for him to move while everybody else was indoors. Best chance would be once everybody moves.
Right? Did the kid think the lock down was for him too? It's like the ban was lifted and bam! Activity. I hope he didn't take someone hostage once the lock down was lifted. Ugh.

Hip Redux
According to the police scanner, they have him cornered in a boat in a yard. They are prepping to engage him.
"body found in a boat" says NBC
Yep. They are planning on dumping him out of the boat and they're getting ready for a fire fight.
Now they mentioned they fired upon the boat.
Hope the body is not a bystander.
I hope they think they have him, and are not wanting to take any risks in rushing the situation.
News now say he is surrounded (possible suspect surrounded).
They're still trying to pull the cover off the boat.
No moment on the boat now. Let's hope it's him.
Now who will volunteer to check the boat?
Jess runs for bacon
I heard they found him via heat cams by helicopter. Good move.
Hope they have him trapped and he is wounded or dead, and are thinking they don't want to put anyone at risk. Let him surrender or bleed out, or take him when everything is in place.
CBS is reporting the police won't move in until the suspect is 'neutralized'. Sounds like he was shot (the owners of the house called in saying there was blood on their boat). My guess is they're going to possibly let him bleed out.
They'll tell you that failure is not an option. That's ridiculous. Failure is always an option. It is the easiest and most readily available option. It's your choice though.
Or have him surrender. I hope it's over.
