6¼ this morning, really feeling the effects of yesterday's longer run. It probably took me 2½ - 3 miles of the run before I felt my legs had loosened up.

My Garmin predicts 1:24:52. lmfao going out at that pace would be half marathon suicide.
Mine predicts 1:49. LMAO. If I'm through 10 miles at that point, it will be a good day.
lol...my takeaway from the predictor is that when it trends faster, that means my fitness is increasing, and in that respect I think it's probably accurate. But there is no way in hell I can run a sub-1:25. Sub-90 is my goal, and even a 1:32 would be just fine. It's a tough course.
My new Garmin lets you add specific events to your calendar and it shows predictions for them. Maybe this was on my prior devices too but I just discovered it today.
I don't know what my watch is thinking. It comes up with a sub-21 5k, a 1:35 half, and a 3:20 full. All I can think is its inaccuracy in reading my heart rate (and occasionally setting my max heart rate way too high) means it has no idea what I'm doing.
Since my Coros does not count indoor runs on its stats, my marathon forecast is 7+ hours.
Speaking of HR, my resting HR has been +10 for the past week
Day 6 of this sickness and I'm only marginally better. Although, I can't feel too sorry for myself, as I just watched the neighbor be loaded into an ambulance and taken away. So I'm doing better than that, I guess.
I initially read that as Crocs, lol and was like yeah, running a marathon in Crocs would probably be 7+ hours
it has no idea what I'm doing.
Mine for sure doesn't! Watch prediction (and a time I've actually run while wearing the watch): 5k 22:35 (19:26), 10k 47:43 (41:09), HM 1:48:33 (1:31:32). And it gives me a 4:01 marathon; I haven't raced a marathon while wearing it, but have run 3:49 as a pacer. So, go figure all that. It's like having the answer key to the test, and still getting all the answers wildly incorrect.

I bet the Omega Theta Pi guys dropped a fake answer key in the garbage for your watch to find.
LOL!
