You can see the full list of entrants for NC24 on Ultrasignup.

I think only 7 of us from the old RW days are running this year, but a few of the locals like thelearnedfoot and Bob! will be there too. Between runners, spouses and family, and local supporters we've had close to a couple dozen in previous years. There are also a few from the ultra and trail running forums here on RA. Then there are returnees that I've met there at previous NC24 races. Redsparkle and SueInTN couldn't make it this year.

                        on my way to badass

Run my first HM without blowing up, bonking or hitting the wall. This is weather dependent.

I would like to make up my mind about my fall marathon.  And to stop feeling so out of shape.

                              Love the Half

Run my first HM without blowing up, bonking or hitting the wall. This is weather dependent.

You won't hit the wall in a half marathon.  That's the good news.  The bad news is that blowing up from going out too fast or from overheating is no more fun than running out of glycogen.

                                Short term goal: 17:59 5K

                                Mid term goal:  2:54:59 marathon

Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life.  (I started running at age 45).
