Sorry that this wasn't a great experience for you, Bluesky! Sounds like the weather and the inexperience of the race setup folks combined to turn the race into an endurance test.

My cousin ran this one also, but she has so far spared me the horror story of how her day went. Hopefully, it didn't discourage her - or you - from trying another marathon in the future.
