Former Bad Ass
If it's too crazy for Lily to try, that's really crazy.
I would do it. What does that make ME??
Damaris
I would categorize you as "raging lunatic". In the most respectful manner possible, of course.
Dave
Um, an ultra runner?
That I would do BOTH races. Sheesh.
I was hoping for bad ass, but I guess raging lunatic will have to do!
I thought you changed your signature?
I'm glad that Shari and Dave gave their opinion in a respectful manner, because I was going to give you shit, Jay, for coming up with such a stupid idea. One week before Boston? WTF?
I hadn't even realized that the marathon in question was Boston. Duh! My advice definitely still stands! Unless you are running Boston LTH-style and stopping to take pictures and kiss the co-eds.
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
To what? Raging Lunatic Bad Ass?
I cannot remember now, strange.
I have not changed that part since I first wrote it.
Phil, excellent double-header.
scottydawg, I hope that lifting went well.
Shari, I hope that taking it easier helps you feel better.
Zelanie, I hope that Zoe is OK.
Andrew, excellent tempo run!
Damaris, have a relaxing and refreshing SRD.
Dave, I don't need more toys.
Nicole, have a wonderful eight-miler.
Rick, sweet seven. I'm glad that you finally found the light.
Jay, have a great LR. You do that six-hour run, I'll give you an earful on Lily's behalf when you're in Boston.
outoftheblue, fantastic five.
Marjorie, brava on the 8.4.
2.0 hilly (duh, in this city, that goes without saying) miles in 19:41.19. 9:52 pace. Oh, and I'll be doing the MCM in October. (If my name is picked for the NYCM, too, I won't do Athens. I'm not that Damarized yet.)
Oh Basya, I can't wait for your race report. You are so brave! I know the course isn't an easy one, but it must be an amazingly significant one in terms of history.
So my 15 miler won't happen tonight. My mind and my heart are just not there for it. I ran 20 Saturday, 20 Sunday, 11 Monday and 9 with hills last night and the thought of staring at the wall for more than 2 hours tonight is just killing me... I'd rather kill myself, I think. So I've already opened a bottle of white wine and I'm on my second glass. Pizza is in the oven. I'll run 4 recovery miles after supper, if I'm not passed out on the couch. Tomorrow, I'll do my 12 with 7 @ tempo pace and Friday I'll do the 15 easy. Don't mind me, I'm just talking to myself, like drunks do...

Lily, enjoy dinner and running. Jerusalem isn't as bad as one would expect. It's gorgeous, so it doesn't seem terrible. It's more than worth the trip.
Dave, bravo on the four.
Was that a test? 'Cuz you know that was not going to get past me girlfriend!
LOL... I would share with you if I could.
