Thanks for all the kind words guys and gals. It was actually a good time getting out there and battling the elements, at least once I gave up on the idea of running a PR. I forget sometimes that this is supposed to be fun, and seeing all those other idiots like me paying money to play in the snow definitely put a smile on my face.

Yep, shorts. He actually fell at one point too...had to be darn cold going down. I had intended to go with shorts as well, but I decided at the last minute I might be better served by keeping my muscles warm in tights.
