Looking on my RW log I just realized that I am 1.8 miles away from 4,000 miles since I began running (or keeping a log.... )!!!!!
Tomorrow's 10-11 miler will fly over that milestone!!!!
I know, it's a stupid post but I don't care!!

Milestones aren't stupid. I think you should stop wherever you are and take a commemorative picture.
that's a great idea, I'll have to remember that dang it lol. One selfie of just me and another of me and Rocky
Congrats!
You made me check. I am about 322 miles away from 10k. Then I can retire.

Congrats! You made me check.
You made me check.
+1.
As it turns out I am 60 miles away from 5000. Well anyway that's based on what's in the RA log, which did not start when I started running. I did take some time to upload some data I had kept on other sites, but a bunch is missing.

4000 miles is quite a long distance when you think of it.
I had to check mine, and I'll hit 5000 miles in a little over a month if I keep at this current rate.
Eh, if you want to get technical I did start "running" in May of 2010 but started logging in July 2010 on RW's log, this one's log is about 500-600 miles behind.
If I want to be technical, I am probably 15-20 miles past 4,000 but where is the fun in missing this milestone
Mmmmm...beer
Woohoo! Milestones aren't stupid, they're a measure of what we've accomplished, you should be proud.

That's a lot of miles, nice! I've had so many stupid injuries that I only just passed 2000 recently D:
I've had a few injuries, 2014 was my best year so far though, not a single injury. This year has been tough, January and February wasn't a great month for me as far as running goes due to hamstring / piriformis issues but it looks like things are getting better so hopefully I can move forward without issues.... as long as my Back2Back half marathons don't kick my ass.
That's really cool! I'm only 600 miles behind you.
Congrats Free!
Maybe I'll retire at 100,000 miles
