Dad on the run.
Laying here in bed watching the NYC marathon, who is with me?
Chasing the sub 20 5K.
Are we there, yet?
Me, and so far the coverage has been horrible.

Hip Redux
Me!
It looks cold and windy.
I like that last comment: For a 26.2 mile marathon - as if a marathon could be another distance.
The coverage is bad. They have the running order which is meaningless early on. What I want to see are splits. Having said that, it's good to see a race being picked up by one of the ESPN networks.
Short term goal: 17:59 5K
Mid term goal: 2:54:59 marathon
Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life. (I started running at age 45).
John McEnroe? Really?
Skirt Runner
Usually I'd be watching at 73rd and 4th in Brooklyn, where I live but my friend offered me box seats at the Jets game. So not gonna be watching

I started a blog about running :) Check it out if you care to
I wondered the same thing.
Critical moments in the women's race and ESPN is oblivious.
Mutai beginning to push and Meb falling back.
Looking at Priscah Jeptoo, I'm going to quit worrying about the fact that my running form looks eerily similar to hers. I have long noted that my legs kick out like a duck.
My husband who doesn't run just walked into the room, took a look at her and said, "what the hell kind of running is that?" My reply was, "the fast kind."
My wife commented on her form to. I replied "yea but she's fast"
At 19 miles Jiptoo has cut the lead to 1:42.
Just so it will not be confused with one of those 5k marathons.
