Only a short speedwork session today to get the lead out. (That, and the gym's heat was running wild, it was at least 80 in there. Cool for D, but this tundra dweller was sweating buckets.)
Fans of the franchise will not be disappointed. Jason Statham brings the fuckin heat as a villain! As far as Paul Walker, what a truly heart warming tribute the writers put in at the end. Absolutely fabulous! They set the stage with some great music and scenes from Furious' past, and in doing so provide closure in the film for something that happened in real life. And in the process give a clear indication as to the future of the franchise... This is easily the best Furious to date!

There's no way I'm going to see this in the theatre

I watched two...things tonight. I watched that ESPN 30 for 30 'Of Miracles and Men.' That was good. Then I watched "Edge of Tomorrow." Sure it's a Tom Cruise flick, but it also an Emily Blunt flick.

It's nice about the tribute, though.

I watched The Imitation Game. It was excellent.

I love The Edge of Tomorrow. I have it saved for all my TM runs this Summer (that and Transformers 4 together with V for Vendetta). Sorry.
To me, 90% of the Oscar nominated films are boring. I watched Birdman and almost threw up out of boredom....
Damaris
Oh, I ran my 6. The sun was brutal. It sucked. I think I might hop on the TM until November. Meh.
Birdman was awesome.
Zzzzzzz. LOL.
I would only watch it once. And it was on the plane; no other choices.
I do not do Oscar nominated type movies well but to each his own. If ice cream only came vanilla flavored life would be incredibly bland.

I do not do mindless, formulaic cookie-cutter action movies well, but to each his own.
LOL. Agreed (with both).
