8 easy miles done at 8:15 pace on the treadmill while Olympic hockey was on the TV.  I think Olympic hockey should always be scheduled around my treadmill runs.  LR scheduled for tomorrow.  I paid close attention to the road conditions in town while driving home.  There is a ton of snow, slush, and large puddles out there and virtually no shoulders to run on.  Plows are still trying to clean up.  Sad  It's looking like my LR will be on the treadmill.

A friend who doesn't run joined me at the gym. So, instead, I did forty minutes and 8.25 miles at level 10 on the hill program. I wanted to puke. It was amazing. I also did ab work and push-ups.

I did try them on lol,  they are the 2nd version of my GT2000's so I hope they are the same as far as cushioning and support. As far as my calves are feeling, they're no longer sore when I use my stick on them except for the outer sides of them but other than that nothing. Hopefully, just hopefully all I needed was 3 days of rest and massaging..... and a new pair of shoes certainly can't hurt plus I can give my other pair some rest time.

I am officially done with Garmin 410, last weekend after the race one side of the wristband broke so I super-glued it..... had no problems all week until today and it broke again. I went ahead on Amazon and bought a Forerunner 610, and hope like hell I'll have better luck with it. I went through 2 410's last year, one with the same issue and the other with battery charging issues. I am hoping the 610 is a better watch.

Does anybody know why they stopped making the 410?

I would guess it was because of the bezel that everyone complained about.  I have had no problems with mine and could operate it blindfolded, while running backwards uphill singing Snoop Dogg's Gin & Juice.

Will have mine 4 years this summer and never had an issue. Through many half and full marathons, triathlons

and all the training that went into them.  And I love that my pretty green one can double as a regular watch

I had some recently at one of my favorite digs and have been trying to find a good recipe for it ever since.  It was really good!  But yeah, it uses heavy cream as a base.

I suppose I could make it and then go run 15 miles and come back and gobble up the whole lot of it!

Sorry to disappoint. I eat most things very plain. No sauces, no creams, no heavy dressing, nothing deep fried.
Boring but makes it easier to keep my weight consistent. My splurge is cheesecake a few times a year when at a

I normally am the same but this soup was to die for, I simply must figure out how to make it.  I must.

And as an aside, my splurge is carrot cake.  So I get the urge to splurge Wednesday after lunch and the place I was at stopped making it!  WTF?!

And no, I did not have the coconut cake they replaced it with, just as a matter of principle.

Knee was agreeable, so I ran 3.3 easy miles on the indoor track on my own, then another mile of run/walk with DS. It is a bit stiff now - I'm icing, and I'll see how it feels in the morning. Hoping I can get a few miles in tomorrow, too.

20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.

Never had issues with my bezel, but for some reason the wrist straps break and then of course the one which the battery was messing up. I have no idea how or why the wrist straps would break, but I am beginning to think I should just not wear the garmin when I am not running.....

I switch to the flexible band in the winter time when I wear it on my outer jacket sleeve, and wear the hard plastic band in the spring/summer/fall.
