If you want the best deals for your entry fee, I keep telling you that ultras are the way to go. I pay between $75 and $150 for most of mine, 50K to 12-hours, and the food is a lot better. Once in a while I can find one for $50 and I don't think I've ever paid more than $175, and that was for a 24-hour race.
