9.3 miles done on lots of hills. 9:10 pace but if felt faster than that.

Kristin - that run sounds like fun.  All the advantages of a race w/o the pressure or the cost.

      Zel- have a good trip.

Jack - I hope your trip to Mammoth is good.  I've hiked there - and there's a lot of beautiful trail.  Love trail runs.

Bin - hope tomorrow is dry.

Baconista - hope the bike ride is fun.

Tomas - I missed the announcement as well - congratulations.

D - good thing your run tonight is a short one.

Jerry - you're even cooler than we are - sweet.  Have a good walk/run.

Lauren - sounds like a nice run.  Hills are good.

Awood - good job on the 16.  Hope the cakes turn out well.

Traci - enjoy the rest day. Four days in a row is good, but you don't want to overdo.

Cherie - glad you got in your miles, despite the humidity.  It has been like that here - not hot, but so humid it feels much warmer than it is.

AFM: no running, and I've injured my left hand somehow so it's useless at the moment.  We did buy a new used truck yesterday.  Now we need to find a camper to fit.  Leg pain is low, but enough that I'm not willing to test it again.  I'm still trying to believe that it isn't really a sfx, but I'm not sure an adductor strain is all that much better.

        Hey everyone!!

Kristin, that is one really organized training run, bibs and everything! Smile

9.5 miles done out at the lake, great run!  Only 83* with a dewpoint of 68* and a light breeze, felt great!

Hope everyone has a great day!

        Return To Racing

Great training run Kristin. Seems like as much fun as a race without the pressure.

Ran/walked 2.25 miles w/dw this morning.  Now off to DD wedding shower.

          Have great rest of weekend.

Fortunately, it's been raining all day so the temps are now just in the mid 80s.  Thankfully.  Ha.

Got in 8 miles this am. Not the best, but got em

              Done.

Yes our family is growing in February. This kinda jacked up my race schedule, but its all good. Now I need to find a jog stroller / trailer with two seats.

Kristen - from yesterday's thread- we were told that if a sped kid and a regular Ed kid gets into a fight, grab the regular kid. Less documentation is needed Smile

I don't know the NY laws, so just do as trained up there.

The few times I had to restrain kids when working at a treatment center I would revert back to my wrestling days and use what worked. The kids would be like, hey you can't grab me like that. Oops Smile
