Lily - A few other provinces have the day off as well. AB and I think the other 2 prairie provinces. We had ours last week.
8 with a crew later

Done with my strength, core, and stretches. Tonight, I will have to get out the gloves and hat to keep my ears and hands warm for the 2 miles I have planned.

I am told in Manitoba it's Louis Riel Day.
Dave
75 minutes on the treadmill.
Dave- good news about the knee!
Lily-did you say you were going to have the doctor look at your bruise? Did that happen yet?
5 easy miles on schedule in about 1/2 hour. I am going to start posting before I do it so it actually gets posted before 1am which is when I usually remember to post.
Hey LRB - I think you posted a while back, a site with a piriformis/glute/butt/hip routine. It was mostly leg swings from different angles. If I bookmarked it, I can't find it. And I've lost the notes I jotted down. Any idea what I'm talking about?
Are you kidding? I post so much crap I need my own internet to keep up with the stuff I post on the internet. lol
What was it in response to specifically? We talk about that so much it could have been one of a dozen things.
Maybe Coach Jay's Myrtle routine?
'Sup true. I just got in from a long day! Breakfast at the Brookshire inside the Royal Park hotel was fit for a king! I would give Jason Bourne a run for his money and the Kingsman was a decent flick despite a strange last half hour.
Now it's time warm up, brr!
Mmmmm...beer
Hey everyone!!
I have to got to get back to posting regularly!
10 miles done in the snow, awesome run. I love running in the snow, even if it doesn't look like it in this pic! lol

My running blog
Goals | sub-18 5k | sub-3 marathon 2:56:46!!
Today was day 1 of a 11 week plan for a 5K May 2nd. I took an 18 week Daniels plan, which is divided in Phases 2,3 and 4 of 6 weeks each (Phase 1 is for people getting back to running regularily) and made it into an 11 week plan like this:
Phase 2 - 3 weeks Speed
Phase 3 - 4 weeks VO2Max
Phase 4 - 4 weeks Endurance
Today was : Easy w/10 ST
Tomorrow : 2E + 2 x (8 x 200R w/200jg) w/800jg + 2E
I might keep the philosophy but cut down on the number of reps. Or not. I'll see how it goes. First and foremost goal, not to injure myself. But I *think* I can do that workout.
MTA: In fact, to be accurate, since the indoor track is 190 meters long, all these 200s will be 190s, and the 800 will be a 760.
D2, I often have the same white beard look when I come home

I think she was referring to coach Jay's Myrtl routine, yes, I remember you posting it not too long ago. i noticed because I do parts of it also. Not the leg swings, but the floor exercises.

The beard fits you. I just grew mine back after going a couple of weeks without it while trying to figure out what to do with the gray hairs that are overtaking my stupid ugly face.
Daniels sent my running into the stratosphere. Hopefully he will for you too.
His plans are written for much younger athletes so you are right to be frugal with it.
Today's 2 was much easier than yesterday's 2.
