Ahhhh, Jack, I'm so glad she liked it! It was definitely my pleasure doing it.
Thank you, Lily! You're such a sweetheart!

Awwww!!!!
Merry Christmas, Pens! We have one VERY excited DD this morning. She Can: DD opened the painting and, for the first time ever, was speechless. Her first words were "That is so swag!" Thank you from all of us!

Resting today. My knee is back to normal now. I ran Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday for a total of 10.6 miles. I decided to try HMP yesterday and did 3.1 miles in 23:09. It no longer feels like I am have to drag my left leg around.
Personal Bests:

Cherie, you are so talented, that painting is wonderful!
Jack, I love that painting. Didn't you post that pic of DD in a thread or something? Seems like I remember seeing it.
Dan, I'm glad the knee is feeling better.
Robert, I hope everything goes smoothly later this evening for you.
Lily, hi, you should stop in more often.
I just did 3.65 in sunshine and 44 degrees. This little run felt better than the previous 2. I guess it just takes a while after that 26.2.
on my way to badass
Merry Christmas Penguins!
Cherie, Jack- Paining and daughter are just beautiful!
Mitch- 44F sounds lovely!
Dan- the knee sounds good. So happy for you.
Kristin- Sorry about your brother. The last time I had strep( as an adult) I was out for 5 days once I started antibiotics and it took three courses to finally kill it all. Gargling with salt water, lots of fluids do help. Don't forget to change the toothbrush.
AFM- I did 2 miles today. A victory since I had plans to do nothing. I also helped assemble a Lord of the Rings Lego set, and did the holiday cooking. I ate too much.
Still waiting for the perfect race picture. 5K PR-33:52 , 10K PR 1:11:16, First HM 2:42:28
That's a lovely painting! Jack's looked so happy with it! Cherie, you are awesome.
