I guess today was the real recovery day. Woke up with some hip/glute soreness. But went for 5 easy miles and it wasn’t too bad.

Wife and I went for an MTB ride, my third in three days. It wasn't a long ride, but because of the layout of our loop, we spent almost the entire ride pedaling uphill on rocky, rooty trails and I got tired. The gnats were awful...possibly the worst I've ever experienced. 8 miles/90 minutes was enough of that shit. We got home and I made waffles.

Rain got close enough to cool my run last night to 81 degrees. It felt go so I did 3.1 miles. Tonight, it will be in mid-90’s again.
