    So your nipples are pierced?

....... or somewhere else much more private?

Uh uh. No way. Not with my pasty skin, DDs, and certain aesthetics that I prefer to keep private.

I have to admit, I'm intrigued. Is it something that would make my life happier? Do you recommend I get one as well, Basya?

          Barking Mad To Run

No I would not, nope. Mostly because my boobs aren't THAT big, but I feel like it would still reallllly hurt to run without a sportsbra!

Actually, for these events, women are given the choice of wearing or not wearing a sports-bra.  So there you go....see you at one of these events next year, Kristin!

Lily, nothing out of the ordinary. I just prefer I keep it to myself.

Always best to keep what's important to us to ourselves.

I am a skinny, pasty white boy with a farmer tan and chicken legs.  To say I'm a bit self conscious would probably be an understatement.

Last month, while on vacation in sunny hot and humid Florida, I was running out in the middle of nowhere and I took my shirt off and ran shirtless for the first time ever.   I found that to be very liberating, freeing, whatever you want to call it.   It felt just....better.

Now would nude feel....better?  I doubt having things flopping around would feel very good.

I heard that when naked, those "things" normally hug tight up against the body.... you should try it and tell us if it is true

I'd do one.  It would probably be more fun as a trail race, but having learned to not be inhibited about short shorts and a singlet, it wouldn't be much more clothing to lose. Big grin

I can see an advantage to this....no chafing. Last summer it was a lovely line front & back from my sports bra. Now the shorts are irritating at the waist and other places. But no, just not gonna happen for me.

Plus, wouldn't it be way too much effort for a race--grooming and all that stuff?

I'm starting to get a singlet tan, so maybe I should consider one.

Hmm tomorrow is my last day in NJ so maybe I should suggest that beach tomorrow to get rid of my singlet tan.

                              Proud Aussie

I'd do it. Why not? as teenagers it was a standard forfeit to do a nude-run through the streets of suburbia and back home again. To do it as an organised event would probably take a bit of the adrenaline out of it.

There isn't much difference to swimming with speedos on and skinny dipping.....and yet it seems like there is. This would be much the same I expect.

Scotty, where do you pin your race number?
