I may run after work since it sounds like there may be a break in the rain. Traffic was awful this morning and it's a damn holiday. Accidents and flooding. Fun times.

Happy April! I ran 6 miles before work. Good run after yesterday's 13.1.
So Tracksmith has this deal going where they will give you a $100 store credit if you run a PR or a master's PR by April 30 in a standard distance race. I did that in my HM last weekend, submitted my info to Tracksmith, and they sent me a code for $100 off my next purchase. Just like that...no strings attached. That is awfully nice of them!

The face I made when I saw my weekend mileage will be only 16 and 5 instead of 20/16:

Big race weekend for the B&B!
Meanwhile, it's OK to have two recovery runs in a row, right? OK, good. I ran 10 miles not quite as slowly as yesterday, but they were still plenty slow. I'm planning my Tuesday-before-Saturday-race workout tomorrow; I'm not expecting great things, but oh well.

It rained overnight here but seems to have cleared up. At least temporarily.

Didn't feel like running after eating dinner. DId do some strength training. Guess I'll be getting wet this week.
