A beautiful morning for running, especially in the local parks. 44º and sunny with no noticeable wind. I stopped a few times to appreciate the wildlife and soak in the moment. 7½ miles.

'Morning!! I ran 13.1 miles in 1:33:17 this morning. I'm calling it a "light tempo" effort. Good run. 58 mile week, 275 mile month. I'm tapering now.

Morning! Woke up at 10:30am (much needed after my long run). Another long run later, 14.

9 with an hour at a harder effort than the rest. Traffic was insane this morning. All the twice yearly church goers were out.
Oh man was I feeling yesterday’s workout. I ran 8 excruciating slow recovery miles. I guess I needed it!
Finished with 62 for the week, 287 for the month. And 763 for Q1—on track for >3000!

God dammit.
Enjoy your taper!
Hiked in Carlsbad Caverns NP today. The main hike is about a mile that goes down 750 ft into the cave. Then another mile looping around a huge area of the cave called the Big Room, the size of ~6 football fields Very cool. I was worried I'd panic but it was so big it was never scary. Then we took the elevator back out, lol Highly recommend if you're ever in New Mexico.
Apparently its Easter. Which maybe is why we might be the only guests at our hotel and all non-chain restaurants in town are closed.
I don't always rock a long run but today was just that day.
49 miles this week which I've not done in forever.
