    7 miles with 4 at HM pace.  We're still not quite hitting our target, the same pace we trained to last spring, but are getting closer.  I wonder whether I lost some speed during marathon training, whether it's just time & age catching up to me, or whether I'm just being a little impatient.

    5k 23:48.45 (3/22); 4M 31:26 (2/22); 5M 38:55 (11/23); 10k 49:24 (10/22);
    10M 1:29:33 (2/24); Half 1:48:32 (10/22); Marathon 4:29:58 (11/23)

    Upcoming races: Running is Back 10k, 5/12; Greta's Run 5k, 5/19

      'Morning!!  I ran five easy miles on the track this morning.  Easy effort and my endurance didn't fade, which was nice.  This was my fourth run day in a row, something I haven't been able to do in six weeks due to my glute strain.  My runs have been slow this week, which I am sure is due to my cold clearing out plus lingering marathon recovery.  It'd be nice to be able to quantify how much the chest cold slows me down, and anything I find on Google says to NOT run until your cold symptoms are gone, which doesn't really help me.  I am feeling much better, but still have some coughing and hacking.  I have not pedaling the bike trainer yet this week so I will do that later today.

              I feel like I still haven't recovered my speed from my marathon in mid-September. Although the 5k & 10k I raced proved otherwise. Still, my easy pace and workout paces have been slow.

              6 miles this morning. With my PTO request submitted yesterday, I made today my last workday of the year. Not doing much exciting, but not working.

                I appreciate the feedback, thanks.  Enjoy the time off.  I have 2 work days left in the year after today.

                  MYRTL routine, stretch, .then hot tub & stretching.

                  I believe [guess] my current groin problem is just a variation of my other right leg nerve entrapment problems.   I’ve only done MYRTL every now and then in the last  3 1/2 years and seems to trigger nerve problems.  Trigger, not cause. Of course, correlation does not equal causation, It could be just a coincidence.

                  I don’t know when I’ll have a real daily. Still having difficulty going up and downstairs.

                    My last work day was Fri and today was the first day where i couldn't remember which day it is. That's when you know you're relaxed.
