I'm staying home on a snow day today and I'm watching a cross country event.  I didn't catch any of it until the very end.  One of the competitors is the world's best at this particular event but she apparently went out too hard at one point and blew up.  She missed the medals entirely but what I loved was the announcer's description - "She flew too close to the sun and her wings melted."

I get the sense that I there are a crap ton of Buffalo Wings in my future this season!
