The only time I do allnighters any more is when I am on the clock and getting paid to do it.
So the house is nearly destroyed from my wife trying to decorate. And we're having the entire family over tomorrow for Christmas Even dinner. Except I have to work so won't be here. I'm hoping the cleaning elves will arrive overnight to take care of it.

Hershey is at the vet now as he spent another whiny night. I did tell them 300 times NO sedation. I hope they do not forget this tiMe. Last time he almost died.

last minute stuff done. Time to have a quick lunch and then attempt a nap. The last Christmas I worked was the blizzard of 09, when we were hurting because several staff went out of town and then couldn't get back for their shifts. We'll see how we do this year with it just being cold...

I was able to bring Hershey home and he looks OK (except his right paw looks like a boot since they shaved part of his leg). Trixie looks OK and more active but did not want to jump into bed and sleep with me.
