I have a very busy day with work, preparing our house for the big freeze, and a church party tonight. I want to run 4 miles before tomorrow’s icemagaddon, but I will have to see if I can squeeze it in.

    Personal Bests:

    800M - 2:38 (5/28/13) | 1 Mile -5:54 (5/28/13) | 3K - 11:55 (12/29/12) | 2M - 13:00 (12/1/12) | 5K - 20:00 (4/12/13) | 13.1M - 1:37:24 (2/3/13)

I have 6 later. Windy AF so likely on the TM. Heading to 0F today.

Hey lol.  I slept late then hit the grocery store for the weekly reload.  Scored a brisket on sale plus $10 off because it's dated Monday.

I've got a day off from running but have a 90 minute bike workout to do.

Was raining this morning plus DH made appointments at 2 banks this morning, so going to go out in the wind in a little bit. Luckily bank 1 may match the CD rate of bank 2, so we didn;t need to go to bank 2. Sort of disappointing, bank 2 is by the cupcake store so I had to make a separate trip there. DId you to the running store's warehouse sale. Meh. Better deals at the Dick's warehouse.

5 miles easy this morning.  It was 55º and humid.  Shorts and t-shirt.  Tomorrow morning is supposed to be 30º and very windy (wind chill 20º  ).  Probably not shorts & t-shirt.

                17 miles at 15 degrees!

                I would not survive that!

10 miles along the coast with RP. A little breezy there so was probably like 35F with windchill, eek. Crazy to see how many surfers are still in the water at these temps. We've been having big waves lately so not only lots of surfers but many of the parking lots are covered with sand (from the super high tides).

Glad to see the Steelers game moved to Monday, as it works better for my schedule.

10, two loops at accotink plus some is all I could take

17 Scoops of Ice Cream at 15 degrees!

                    This sounds good

I think I've only been physically inside a bank once in the past 10 years--to get down payment $ when we bought our house in 2015.

There's a Crumbl a mile from my house. Delicious but expensive enough we don't stop too often.

Could’ve been worse—that was the temp at my group run meetup, it was 11 degrees at home! Even though it’s only 15 miles away. I didn’t think to check the windchill, probably for the best. It was not too windy, but it doesn’t take much at that temp. Anyway it was really not too bad.

Yeah I think it’s about a once every 10 years thing for me too.

DD is kind of obsessed with Crumbl cookies. Most of them are actually a little too decadent for me. We’ll usually cut them into quarters.

First 6 miler in 3 months. No pain!

It was 22F here but still super windy. I saw the sun coming out AFTER my run was over on the TM.

Well I just discovered the Dolphins-Chiefs game tonight is only being shown on Peacock. Goddammit. It’s one thing to have some regular season games streaming-only, but playoffs? Playoffs?? [Insert Jim Mora clip here.] We have 6 fucking streaming services but of course that’s not one of them.

7.5. Today was the least awful weather of the weekend and it was still super windy--a few spots I felt like I was staying in place and at other times, the wind was strong enough to move me sideways.

DavePNW, yea, it's BS. I'm sure Peacock is going to be used for lots of Olympic sports. Cool, instead of getting more people to watch, get fewer, good idea.

ETA, are the Browns or Texans going to play defense?
