I would have turned 10 that fall. So I was in 3rd grade that spring and in 4th grade in the fall? I was probably running around with the other neighborhood kids playing baseball and building forts in the woods.

By that time I had managed to earned 4 college degrees in unrelated subjects, was several years into yet another career change, and was expecting my first grandchild, who was born in the spring of 1986. I could also still crank out a sub-5:20 mile.

I was three! My first memories are of that year. I was living with my mom, twin sister and grandparents in my grandparents' house in Pierrepont, QC (suburb of Montreal). I think it was later that year that my mom got married and we moved into an apartment in NDG in Montreal. (Maybe Lily knows where I'm talking about?) We had one of those Ikea Poang chairs that I will forever associate with that apartment. Good times.
NDG is a very fancy area these days. Million dollar homes and condos. I lived on Rosedale Street for a few years. We sold our house just before the market went crazy. Beautiful neighborhood. I didn't know that you have a twin sister, Meaghan. Does she run?
